  "Description": "Provides a comprehensive framework for analyzing diversity\nfrom frequency/abundance count data. Implements a wide range of\nclassical and entropy-based diversity indices, including\nBerger-Parker, Simpson (and related variants), Shannon,\nBrillouin, McIntosh, Margalef, Menhinick and Smith-Wilson.\nSupports permutation-based hypothesis tests for comparing\ngroups with respect to diversity (global and pairwise\ncomparisons), as well as confidence interval estimation using\nmultiple bootstrap methods. Includes functionality for\ngenerating diversity profiles based on parametric families such\nas Hill numbers, Rényi entropy, and Tsallis entropy. The\nmethods are applicable to ecological community data (species\nabundance counts) and genetic or phenotypic class frequency\ndata.",
